In February 2023 Google said its focus is on the quality of content, not how it's produced, and that its systems aim to reward content showing E-E-A-T: experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness.

How should I use AI tools safely?
Google says AI can help with research and structure, but warns that AI tools can produce inaccuracies, so all AI-generated content should be fact-checked and reviewed before publishing. That includes titles, descriptions, structured data and image alt text.
