What does Google say about llms.txt?
Google lists llms.txt files and other "special" markup as things you can ignore for Google Search. It says it's fine to keep one for other services that use it, but Google Search doesn't.
"Doing so will neither harm nor help your site's visibility or rankings in Google Search, as Google Search ignores them."

So why does WebNamaste have an llms.txt file?
Because Google isn't the only AI system. The proposal's author says thousands of sites publish one and AI labs publish them for their own documentation. It costs little to maintain, so we keep one, and we're clear it does nothing for Google.
Do I need to break my content into small chunks for AI?
No. Google says its systems can understand several topics on one page and show the relevant part, and there's no ideal page length. Write for your readers.

Do I need to rewrite my content in a special AI style?
No. Google says its AI systems understand synonyms and general meaning, so you don't need every long-tail keyword variation. What matters is that the content is clear, useful and well organised.
